RP Biography
Hyleah is shy but mischievous in her own way. She has lost most of her memories of her life before the battle at Carteneau, and can find it hard to converse with others as she feels like she often lacks context about the world around her.Though she had recovered from the battle, she sustained vocal cord damage from smoke inhalation during her time on the battlefield and often gets vocal fatigue, so she speaks softer to keep from straining her voice or relies more on gestures and general facial expressions to communicate. This is also why she took up music. It has become another form of communication for her that doesn’t require her to remember her life before or stutter around words. You’ll often find her either barding, reading, or tending her garden.
About Me
I have been playing FFXIV since the release of ARR. Over the last 3 years I have been involved in the RP scene whether as a participate, venue staff, and venue owner. FFXIV became a place for me to retreat but also make connections.Barding became a quick passion for me and soon after, photography. I love to bring my own flare to barding through RP and unique playlists that cater to the lore of FFXIV as well as Hyleah's personal lore. This often includes traditional harp music from the medieval era and traditional Irish folk music.Photography became another creatative outlet for me as well that was a little seperate from RP. I love creating stories through pose, environment, and my own personal style of post-process editing. FFXIV characters are so unique, and I love seeing how people create their chracters, and taking their vision and breathing a little life into it through my photography and editing.
